FAQs

  • What is your cancellation policy?

Please read in full before booking. We are putting this at the top to get the most important part out of the way! Due to our limited inventory, our cancellation policy is strict.

Guest may cancel 14 days before arrival to receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 14 days but more than 3 days prior to arrival are eligible for date changes. A change fee of $35 per reservation and rate difference, if applicable, will be due at a time of re-booking. Should the new fare be lower than of the original reservation, the difference will not be refunded. New reservation will be automatically considered as non-refundable. Any reservation cancelled less than 72 hours prior to arrival date are non-refundable. Early departures or no shows are chargeable at their full rate.

Cold or inclement weather will not permit cancellations and refunds unless TCD deems the conditions make the stay unsafe. You acknowledge that TCD reserves the right to cancel your stay at any time due to dangerous weather, or other conditions, solely at our discretion. In the unusual case of a company cancellation due to inclement weather cancellation, guest will be charged no more than first night's rate.

Glamping Packages:

  • 100% of paid booking refundable when cancelled 14+ days prior to scheduled date

  • 0% refundable 0-14 days of booking.

  • If your glamping excursion must be cancelled due to inclement weather, you will be moved to another date

Common reasons for canceling:

1.) A family member or friend passes away

2.) You fail ill and are not up to camping

3.) Your companion(s) are not able to join you

4.) The weather is bad (no refunds are given for inclement weather and all our tents are waterproof)

5.) A Hurricane- note hurricane season is usually between May and November- trip insurance will cover this if purchased BEFORE the hurricane has been named.

  • Is there a minimum stay?

Yes, we have a 2-night minimum weekend stay and a 3-night minimum stay on holidays (memorial day, 4th of July, Labor Day) and on Fall weekends. You can start or end your reservation on any day but Saturday. You can book Saturday you just can not check-in or out on Saturday.  You can check in on Friday and out on Sunday for example.

  • Will there be BUGS?

Yes. We have taken great precautions and constructed the tent site to prevent bugs from entering. However, remember this is still camping and we are living in nature. You could see ants, spiders, ticks, unidentified crawly's, etc etc. We can't control how many you will see or if you see them. Making sure your tent is zipped up properly at all times will help keep the insects out. Keep your trash gathered in the provided trash bins, and the area clean will help to prevent creatures of nature from visiting. If the idea of running into some spiders is going to make you "bug out" (or any other insect/bug/tiny thannngs with legs) this experience may not be for you. We can not give refunds based on insects getting in the tent.

  • Does Glamping mean it is nothing like Camping?

We want you to arrive with accurate expectations so we work hard at being transparent. Glamping with us is still camping with some added comforts. We are not a 5 star resort however. You are still outdoors and you may even run into some bugs (see bugs section). If you've never been camping, this might not be for you but we are glad to answer any questions before you book! Please email us at thecampersdelight@gmail.com

  • Do you allow Pets?

Pets are not allowed in our tents. The canvas absorbs odors and the floors scratch easily. We have invested in the best quality canvas tent on the market for your use and the use of others. We appreciate your understanding.

  • How do I check in?

We offer a safe check-in and will communicate with you by text and upon your arrival. Guests must arrive and be present at check-in time or time frame agreed with TCD to receive the camping package installed and ready to use, do inspection of the site, to go through a general review of the equipment, and the amenities included in the camping package. If guest is not present at the time and place agreed, TCD will then wait an additional 15 minutes, after which TCD will break down the camping package and leave. TCD reserves the right to charge a no-show fee of $50 and there will not be a reimbursement.

  • Additional things to know.

Open flames, candles are not allowed in the tent.

Smoking is not allowed inside the tent or anywhere near the tent. Again, the canvas absorbs odors easily and we have invested in the best quality canvas wall tent on the market for your use and the use of others.

  • How are we keeping our guests safe during COVID?

We are also following CDC cleaning protocols for the safety of our guests and staff.

Please note that we are not able to offer early check in's or check out's— we need all the time we have to properly clean our tents.
